Methodology and data quality

How a briefing becomes a complete market.

Data is only worth as much as the trust you can place in it. That is why we are open about how we work: which steps every company goes through, how we verify completeness and what counts as confirmed for contact details.

01

Completeness over volume

A long list is not a market. What matters to us is whether every company that fits is included – and none that does not.

02

Every decision is justified

For every company, we state why it is in the market. For every exclusion, we state the reason. You can check both.

03

Only verified data is delivered

Contact details go through verification. Anything that cannot be verified is not presented as confirmed.

A company's journey

Six steps, no blind spots.

Every candidate goes through the same process. At the end there is either a justified match or a justified exclusion.

  1. 1

    Translate the market definition

Your briefing is turned into verifiable criteria: hard attributes such as size, region and legal form – and soft ones such as business model, offering or way of working.

Output: Catalogue of criteria, approved by you

  2. 2

    Build the full population

We gather every company that could potentially qualify – deliberately broad and from several independent sources.

Output: Raw list of all candidates

  3. 3

    Merge and clean

The same company appears in several sources under different spellings. We merge them into one record and remove dissolved companies.

    Output: One record per company

  4. 4

    Check every company individually

Our software reads the website, job ads and register data of every candidate and compares them with your criteria. The result is a fit score with a rationale.

Output: Fit score and rationale per company

  5. 5

    Find and verify contacts

For the remaining companies, we identify the people in your target roles and check that role and contact details are current.

Output: Verified contacts per target role

  6. 6

    Quality control and handover

Before delivery, a person reviews samples of both matches and exclusions. Only then does the market go into your CRM.

Output: Your market, ready in your CRM

From raw material to market

Most of the work is filtering out.

An example run: out of many candidates, what remains is the share that genuinely meets your criteria.

Completeness

How do we know nothing is missing?

Completeness cannot be claimed, only verified. We do this in three ways.

Cross-check against your customer list

Your existing customers and known target accounts must appear in the market. If one is missing, we find out why – and close the gap for all similar cases.

Check sources against each other

No single directory is complete. Anything that appears in only one source gets extra scrutiny; anything that appears in none, we find via websites and job ads.

Disclose exclusions

You receive not only the matches but also the companies that were narrowly excluded, with the reason. That way you can see where the boundary of your market lies.

Contact details

A contact only counts if they are reachable.

Wrong contacts and dead addresses cost your sales team more time than having no data at all. That is why every contact is verified before delivery – and its verification status is delivered with it.

  • Role and employer are current
  • Email address is technically deliverable
  • Phone number belongs to the person, where available
  • Duplicates and people outside the target role are removed

What is delivered

What exactly arrives in your CRM.

The market does not stand still after delivery: new companies are added, dissolved ones are removed, and changes of contact are tracked.
